Montgomery Bar Association Updates
The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania issued a Court Order temporarily waiving the six (6) hour limitation on distance learning credits for 2020 compliance deadlines. Attorneys in PA may now complete all 12 hours of their CLE requirements through approved distance learning activities. MBA offers both Live CLE Webinars and pre-recorded Online CLE seminars - all featuring local experts on a variety of legal topics.
The MBA Building is now open for limited purposes. Visitors are required to wear a protective face mask and maintain appropriate social distancing (6 feet between individuals at all times). Access is limited to the main floor of the building, including (and limited to) the lobby, dining room (restaurant), and rest rooms. Members may utilize the dining room for work or meetings of no more than four (4) individuals, provided masks are worn and social distance requirements are met.
The MBA's in-house restaurant (Burly Dove Bistro) remains closed with a planned reopening date of September 8, 2020.
Meetings and events will continue to be held virtually via GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, and Zoom. Please contact Megan Ware at email@example.com or 610-279-9660, ext. 200 to schedule.
Videoconferencing capabilities are available by request. Please contact George Cardenas at firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule.
