Ambler, PA - More than a dozen MBA members, staff, and family donated their time on Monday, January 20, 2020 to give back on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service. Two groups of volunteers spent their day at Interfaith Housing Alliance (www.i-fha.org) and Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club (http://www.npvclub.org/).
Interfaith Housing Alliance provides emergency and transitional shelter to families with children, as well as emergency food relief and intensive case management and support services. MBA members cleaned and moved furniture, sorted donations, and organized shared spaces in the building.
The Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club offers recreational, afterschool, and summer activities to young people, particularly those in need. MBA volunteers cleaned, organized, and decorated the club's classrooms and hallways.
