MBA's COVID-19 Resource Center and Other Important Updates

First of all, we hope that you and your family staying safe and healthy during this unprecedented and difficult time. We would like to remind you that the MBA has been working diligently to ensure that our operations have been uninterrupted and we are able to offer the same resources, support, and assistance that we’ve provided to our members and the community for 135 years. To that end, please note the following:

We’ve created a COVID-19 Resource Center to centralize important court orders and procedural changes, as well as other updates relevant to the practice of law in and around Montgomery County.

Please utilize the Unified Justice System of Pennsylvania's resource page, which includes state and county procedural updates.

MBA staff is working remotely and is available via phone and email. Please visit our staff directory for contact information.

The Pennsylvania CLE board has postponed the April 30th compliance deadline to August 31st. Please continue to utilize our convenient Online CLE Center to earn your distance learning credits.

Women in the Law Committee Announces the 19th Amendment Project
Annual Memorial Service

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, which granted women the right to vote.  The MBA plans to honor this momentous occasion during our annual Law Day Celebration on May 1, 2020 at the Montgomery County Courthouse*. 

In preparation for the celebration, we are asking members to submit a brief write-up about a woman who inspired you (and why)! We will share these submissions on our website, social media channels, and feature them during our Law Day celebration*. Please submit 1 paragraph, along with a photograph of the individual (if possible), to
