Golf Classic Cancelled, But Legal Aid Still Needs Our Help!
MBF - Legal Aid

In the midst of a summer complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic, civil unrest caused by the recognition of difficult race relations, anxiety over the disease and its cost to the economy, and high rates of unemployment for many lower income people, the need for the services of Legal Aid attorneys and pro-bono attorneys who help Legal Aid represent people and get justice is more acute than ever.

In lieu of participating in the Legal Aid Golf Classic this year, which was unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic, the Montgomery Bar Foundation would like to encourage you and your law firm to make a donation to the MBF in support of Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Please consider making a donation of $250, which would have been commensurate with your registration fee. Your donation will be matched by the Montgomery Bar Association (up to $20,000 aggregate total).

MBA Launches New Online Diversity Resource Center
Diversity Resource Center

We are proud to introduce a brand new section on our website to provide diversity resources and highlight our initiatives. On this page, you will find dozens of links to books, articles, and videos pertaining to racism and diversity within our profession, community, and beyond. As MBA President Patrick J. Kurtas, Esq. recently commented in a message to membership:

"Every day we do something in our own personal lives to combat racism moves us forward and quite simply, the more people who are asking questions and seeking information relevant to diversity and racial issues, and the more people insisting on us collectively doing better in these areas, the greater the likelihood of actual change."
