Speaker(s): Samuel D. Miller, Esq.
Topic: The elder law committee is excited to welcome Samuel D. Miller, III back to present "Elder Law Ethics 2017". Sam will discuss recent cases in the public record involving profound lapses of judgment that have resulted in complaints to the Disciplinary Board and, in some instances, the disbarment of Pennsylvania lawyers. The seminar will cover issues of professional responsibility that confront practitioners in the field of elder law, and you will hear practical suggestions on how to avoid ethical problems. Mr. Miller was Disciplinary Counsel in the Office of Disciplinary Council of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania for over 29 years. His current private law practice focuses on the representation of lawyers and law firms in matters before the Disciplinary Board and Lawyers' Fund for Client Security, and in other issues of attorney ethics and professional responsibility. Join us for "Elder Law Ethics 2017."
