8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Location: MBA Building
Topic: Last spring, in furtherance of our mission to improve, facilitate, and support justice for all in Montgomery County, the Montgomery County Bar Foundation sponsored Montgomery County's first Access to Justice Summit. This year, our discussions will focus on the topic of improved communication, a need identified by last year's attendees. If furtherance of our collective goal to better share information which will help each of us serve our clients, panelists will discuss several programs designed to connect all of us to county resources, to potential sources of funding, and to each other. In addition, we hope to include the perspective of a county resident whose experience navigating the system will provide valuable insight for all working to improve access to justice throughout the county. We are also excited to report on some incredible outcomes of last year's summit. Anticipated attendees once again include representatives from the Bench, Bar leadership, pro bono attorneys, social service providers, county agencies, the faith community and law enforcement.
Registration on the web for this Meeting is not available at this time. Please contact the bar association if you have questions at 610-279-9660, ext. 211.
