About “Ask a Real Lawyer”
“Ask a Real Lawyer” is a pilot program presented by Montgomery Bar Association. The program aims to provide a safe service where local residents and business owners can anonymously ask legal questions of general interest to lawyers who practice law in Montgomery County, PA. Questions sent to AskaRealLawyer@montgomerybar.org are received by an MBA LRS help desk representative, then posted anonymously to a group of panelists who are qualifying members of the Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service or Modest Means Legal Access Program. Responses from panelists are formatted on the web by the Bar Association and a link is then sent to the responding attorney for approval.  Once content is approved by the attorney, it is sent to MONTCO.TODAY for publication and prepared to appear in future editions of MONTCO.TODAY.  Content will also be archived in the “For the Public/ Ask a Real Lawyer” section of the Bar’s website, montgomerybar.org

Panelist Eligibility
