Established in 1885, Montgomery Bar Association (MBA) is one of our nation's oldest and most respected bar associations, representing over 2,100 legal professionals in Montgomery County, PA. As one of Pennsylvania's largest bar associations, the MBA exists to uphold legal and ethical standards in our legal community and has a longstanding tradition of service to its membership and the community. For members, the MBA offers an important arena for networking, business development, professional development and continuing legal education. For the community, the MBA offers educational programming, and legal resource assistance through popular offerings like its Lawyer Referral Service, Modest Means Legal Access Program, and Center for Mediation and Arbitration. Through its charitable affiliate, the Montgomery Bar Foundation (MBF), critical funds are raised and distributed to support local justice-related caused. Both the Association and Foundation are actively engaged in public service through award-winning outreach, leadership training, collaborative, and diversity efforts. The MBA, MBF, and its members are proud to offer sustenance to programs, organizations, and initiatives like EPIC: the Eviction Prevention and Intervention Coalition; MCAP: the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project; Liberty and Law Civics Education for middle school students, the Mock Trial Competitions for high school students, organized volunteer efforts and more.
